The Dallas Mavericks look to eliminate the Los Angeles Clippers at home in Game 6, and we're offering our expert Clippers vs. Mavericks player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Los Angeles Clippers (51-31) are in a tough spot as they head to American Airlines Center in Dallas following a dejecting 123-93 Game 5 defeat against the Dallas Mavericks (50-32). Game 6 tips off at 9:30 p.m. ET (ESPN) on Friday, and the Clippers must make do without injured star forward Kawhi Leonard (knee).

With the Mavericks favored by 7.5 points across our best sports betting sites, all eyes will be on Luka Doncic, who delivered a standout performance in Game 5. Another strong showing from him could not only further boost his NBA Finals MVP odds but also potentially end the Clippers' season.

Clippers vs. Mavericks prop bet predictions for Friday

Luka Doncic Over 33.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

It's been a disappointing series for Doncic in terms of shooting, but he's coming off his best scoring output against the Clippers with 35 points. While his 3-point shot still isn't falling at its regular clip (26.3%), it hasn't impacted his willingness.

Doncic is like a bellcow running back, getting 25 to 30 carries a game. He's going to have an absurdly high usage rate (42.4 minutes, 25.4 field goals in the series), and eventually, the dam will break. It broke in Game 5, and now, with the chance to end the series, I expect Doncic to put the offense on his back.

Throughout the series, Doncic's points line has hovered around 33.5, but the odds have never been this long. That +100 price is too good to pass up with a 50% implied probability,  according to our odds calculator, and a $10 bet leading to a $10 profit.

Kyrie Irving Over 4.5 assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

You know the Clippers are down bad when Kyrie Irving and Doncic combined to go 3-for-15 from behind the arc and the Mavericks still win by 30. While Irving may have rewound the clock in Game 4, he couldn't hit Jerry Jones' bus is if it were parked right in front of him in Game 5.

Still, Irving was effective setting others up in Game 5 and has showcased his court vision and passing prowess throughout the series. He's averaging 4.8 assists through five games, but has finished with at least five in each of the last three games.  

Considering that Irving averaged 5.2 assists per game in the regular season, I think this prop is a great value. It's as short as -139 at our other best sportsbooks, implying a 58.14% probability it hits. But at our price, a $10 bet pays out $18.20.

Paul George Under 24.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

As it turns out, throwing a bunch of aging future Hall of Famers together on a roster and hoping they'll all stay healthy and capable for 80-plus games isn't the best roster-building strategy. At 34, Paul George doesn't seem to have the legs to pick up the slack with Leonard out.

George is averaging only 19.8 points in the series and has scored more than 22 just once. In two of his last three games, George shot below 31% from the floor and put up 22 total points in those two games.

Unless he gets scorching hot from 3-point range again, as he did in Game 4, to keep LA alive, he might want to start thinking about declining his player option for next season. The -113 odds imply a 53.05% probability the Under hits with a $10 bet, paying out $18.85.
